BIOSKETCH
Rajeshree Moodley is a senior lecturer in the Discipline of Dentistry, University of KwaZulu Natal and holds a doctoral degree. Her doctoral research centered on dental education and occupational health. Starting her career as a dental therapist, she gained valuable experience in the Department of Health. Transitioning to the University of KwaZulu Natal in 2011, she assumed the role of lecturer within the Discipline of Dentistry. Her primary responsibilities involve teaching undergraduate dental therapy students in various subjects such as Operative Dentistry, Dental Materials, Cariology, and Dental Specialties. She has been nominated for the Distinguished Teacher award at UKZN.In addition to her teaching role, Rajeshree Moodley actively contributes to research. She has published her work in local and international journals and has presented at national and international conferences. At UKZN, she also supervises postgraduate students pursuing master’s and PhD degrees. Her research interests include dental education, occupational health, and public health. Furthermore, she represents UKZN as the designated representative of the International Association for Dental Research, South Africa.
